CONTROL Resonant has 50 trophies on PlayStation, including a Platinum, and 49 achievements on Xbox and Steam. The one-trophy difference is the Platinum itself, which only exists on PlayStation. Nineteen of those entries are hidden until you unlock them.
Trophy and achievement counts by platform
| Platform | Total entries | Platinum | Hidden |
|---|---|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | 50 trophies | Yes | 19 |
| Xbox Series X|S | 49 achievements | No | 19 |
| Steam | 49 achievements | No | 19 |
PlayStation counts the Platinum as its own entry, so the total is one higher. Xbox and Steam express full completion through a completion percentage instead, which is why their lists are shorter without any content being missing.
The trophies people actually miss
Boss fights are not the risk. Zone-specific side stories and puzzles are. The map is split into districts, and each one hides its own optional content. That makes it easy to finish a district, move on, and only then discover you left something behind.
Known examples from the published list:
- Dog’s Best Friend — complete the “Every Dog Has Her Day” side story, which asks you to find the Mysterious Dog and its toy in seven different zones.
- Be What You Want To Be — save everyone during the karaoke side story, which is a sequence you can fail.
- Puzzle trophies tied to specific districts, including the West Incursion Zone soda machine, the Evacuation Zone art gallery, the Park Zone coffee puzzle, the Downtown coffee shop appliances and the Central laundry room.
A single-playthrough route that works
- Push the main story first to unlock every zone and the movement abilities. Traversal upgrades shorten every later clean-up run.
- Clear the side stories as you enter each zone, rather than saving them all for the end. The dog and puzzle objectives are easier to spot while you are already there, and you avoid a long backtracking sweep.
- Sweep collectibles and remaining Resonant enemies after the story, using fast travel between districts.
- Finish the odd clean-up, then mop up any combat or progression trophies that need specific builds.
The reset behaviour is why this order works. Clearing a major enemy in a zone reworks the surrounding spawns, so a second visit to an area does not feel like dead time.
What else you will need
Specific puzzle solutions matter more than combat skill here. The dog locations page covers the biggest side story in detail, and the artist boss guide covers the first boss fight and its ability reward, which affects how the rest of your run plays.
