There is a CONTROL Resonant ARG running, and the community found it, not the marketing department. Players on the r/controlgame subreddit and Remedy’s official Discord started tracking a set of cryptic posts in late August 2026, and the thread has been growing ever since.
Remedy has never confirmed, denied or explained any of it. That silence is worth taking at face value: everything below is community findings and community inference, not official lore.

How it started
The first threads appeared in late August, asking whether a set of strange posts was an ARG at all. Within days the community had a working channel on Remedy’s official Discord and a shared research document, and posters were trading leads rather than guesses.

What the community has decoded
The completed collage is the clearest result so far. Reading the assembled image, players concluded that the clues point towards the Blessed Organisation. One widely discussed theory holds that the organisation wants the paranatural world exposed to the public, or “lifting the veil”. That would put it in direct opposition to the Bureau’s secrecy.
That theory is inference, not fact. A second thread of speculation centres on a newly released ARG video and on a voice some listeners believe they recognise. That is the kind of lead that is easy to chase and hard to prove.
What Remedy has said
Nothing. There has been no announcement, no confirmation and no denial from Remedy Entertainment about any of this. For a studio whose games lean on layered, self-referential storytelling, a puzzle layer running outside the game is plausible, but plausible is not confirmed.
